Aunt Melissa's baby "sprinkle"

This weekend we headed to Kenosha, WI for Aunt Melissa's "sprinkle" ... too small to call a baby shower, but a celebration of her baby girl nonetheless. First, Stephie helped Aunt Connie and Carra sort all of the candy by color......while Haley hung out with Aunt Sarah and Grandma Julie.
Aunt Melissa had LOTS of help opening up her gifts! We can't wait to welcome the newest baby girl to the Ryan family!

Shiny new floors

We had the floors in our kitchen and family room refinished this weekend which meant lots of space for Stephie and Haley to roam......unfortunately for Haley, Stephie still managed to capture her!

How about a soggy cracker for dessert?

Haley loves watching Stephie eat......and has gotten quite adept at feeding herself as well.This week, though, Haley also figured out how to feed other people. Grandma Julie took one for the team.
Of course, Stephie wanted to play too. Poor Grandma!

Dad's night at school

Last night was Dad's night at Stephie's school. Stephie and Daddy did all kinds of "manly" things which don't really apply to our household, like sports......and creating a neck-tie.
They had fun anyway, though.
Looks like Haley's got some big shoes to fill, literally and figuratively.

Getting out again

...escaped from jail......to explore the Children's museum today with Julie and Papa. (Poor Bobo is still sick!)
Stephie was there of course too.

Day out with Julie and Papa

Poor Bobo has the flu and had to stay home in bed, so Stephie and Haley spent the day out on the town with Julie and Papa. First, Haley got all dressed up for the occasion.Next was Tiny Toes. Pay attention, girls!
Followed by lunch at Two Toots, of course.Followed by a horsey-ride...
...and some crazy indoor playgrounds.
Whoa!

Star of the week

Haley is such a big girl now, sitting up so tall for her ride through the salad line at Sweet Tomatoes."Gimme the good stuff!"

Children's museum with Mimi and Poppie

While Mommy and sweet Haley hung out at home......Stephie, Mimi, Poppie, and Daddy took the DuPage Children's Museum by storm. Wind tunnel!
