Haley's first gymnastics class

We got special permission for Haley to enroll in the 18-month-old gymnastics class a month early as she definitely has energy to burn.  Usually Stephie will be in preschool during this time, but today she came along to play too.

Afterward, a quick walk up to Sunset Park for a picnic...

...and home for naps.  A great day!

Northside park and a photo opportunity

Looks like Geoffrey (or as Haley calls him, "Baby!"), went to Northside Park today.
Ava was in school, but Cami came to play too.
"Hmmm, is there food in here somewhere?!?"

 "Again, where's the food?!?"

Later at home, Stephie worked on her photography.

Blondies

Three little blondies met at the park...
...whoops, four little blondes!  Plus Geoffrey.

 Group teetering session:

Seems a little unbalanced but lots of fun!

Afternoon walk

We can't get enough of this gorgeous weather!  Today we took 2 afternoon walks.  On the first walk, Haley rode in her stroller (with her new postcard from Alaska from Gigi and Grandpa Roger!)...
 ...while Stephie rode her big-wheel.
 Honk honk!

On our second walk, Haley and Stephie both walked the whole way!  Big girls!

Basement madness

Hey, look!  The whole family fits in the princess tent!

A beautiful day downtown

We took advantage of our last free Friday before school starts to take the train downtown.  The girls waited for a boat ride...

Hey Haley, where are you going?!?!

 All aboard!
 Snack time.
The boat went all the way to Navy Pier.  It was a gorgeous sunny day!
We stopped inside for a bathroom and found this cool hair-raising globe.  Zap!

First time on the Navy Pier ferris wheel!

 Pretty!
 Hat head.

And finally, lunch with Daddy!  A truly fantastic end-of-summer day.
