Crazy hats!

 Grandma Julie made some crazy hats in the girls' requested colors:

The walk started out with both hats on:

 "NO HAT JUST MY HOOD."

 No hats at all.

Stephie day!

Today was Stephie day!  A special show downtown at the Apollo Theater...

...followed by lunch at Lincoln Park Zoo.

 Poppie and Stephie like to make smashed pennies.  She is starting her own collection!

She was on a quest to see the giraffes.

Reunited with Haley at Sweet Tomatoes!  Haley likes piles of corn, peas, and shredded cheddar cheese.

 And of course just a touch of ice cream for dessert.

 Sweet Tomatoes sure is fun!

Haley day!

 It was an awesome day for Haley today: a special birthday outing with Mimi and Poppie.  First stop: Monkey Bizness!

Next stop: Pilot Pete's for lunch!

 Note the large amount of ketchup which is unfortunately pretty typical of Haley's meals.

 Later it was time for crafts.

 Stephie too, of course!

 All done!  Time to pretend to sleep!

Bobo's park

 After expressing their creativity at home with their dotters...

 ...the girls were off to a park near Bobo's house.  Good balance, Stephie!

Milwaukee field trip

 Road trip!  Aunt Jeannie was in Milwaukee for the day, so Stephie and Haley got to go to Milwaukee to hang out.  Carra was there too!

Haley didn't like the swing very much...

 ...but she did like the chalk.

 This is Addie, Aunt Jeannie's great niece.

 She and Stephie were buddies too.

 Cousins!  Love seeing the girls become such good friends with Carra.

Busy day with friends

 Apparently gymnastics class was cancelled for spring break, so it was off to the library.

 Then back home for some games with friends.
