 Yet another day stuck indoors.  What's there to do but crafts...

...and eat...

 ...and more crafts...

 ...and more eating?

 Oy.

I wonder how they got it!

 Hmmm...maybe wallowing around on this filthy door mat had something to do with it.

 Nah.  The girls have Gianotti Crosti, for those who are interested.  Haley brought her toy thermometer to the park, just to be sure.

The creeping viral crud

 Well, the vomiting of Sunday has evolved into a viral crud that is covering most of Stephie and Haley's exposed skin.  So, no school or camp today for either of them!  Instead, lots of crafts at home.

 It's hard to find a park around here where the girls don't know anyone, so they escaped to a park in Glendale Heights instead which was luckily empty.

 Can dogs get a viral exanthem?  Let's hope not.

 Hopefully Papa can't catch it either!

Too hot for outdoors!

 Whew!  97 degrees!  Time to escape inside.

 "Am I big enough for this jumpy thing yet?"

 "Nope."

Grants Farm Adventure

After a fun morning at Gigi and Roger's house the whole crew headed to Grant's farm.





We bottle fed the super aggressive goats


Then enjoyed a spin on the carousel (no ride for Haley again)



Then caught the slave-bird show. Note the enslaved bald eagle in the background here.








Back at Mimi and Poppie's the girls enjoyed arranging the rubber duckies around the yard



And finished the evening with a hearty round of "destroy the basement". What a great day!!! Thanks grandparents!!!
