Birthday countdown

Stephie was asking Mommy EVERY day how many more days there are until her birthday, so we thought of a way to make it a little more tangible for her.  Every link represents one day.  The whole family helped put it together.

 Only 39 more days to go!

A brief glimpse of our weekend

Mommy and Stephie went to a ballet class.

Haley showed off her cute new pixie cut.

And most excitingly, the girls went to Disney on Ice's Dare to Dream show!

Stephie dressed as Belle, of course.

Where was Mommy?  Doing the blog book.  Grrrr.

Haircuts!

It was time for a trim for Stephie and the dreaded bangs for Haley (as she refuses to wear hair bows), so off to Maryellen's house we went!  Stephie went first...

...while Haley played with Roxie the Boston Terrier.

A busy Friday

 First, Mommy and Stephie went to Dr. Lynch.  Stephie was an excellent patient and got an A+ report!

Next, it was off to a make-up music class.

 Mommy got to go, for once!

 Daddy and Mommy went out for sushi (yum!) for dinner.

 Also, Mommy has a new hobby (which is driving Daddy a little bit crazy).  But COME ON, who wouldn't want to eat that?  Right, Haley???

22 months old!

Happy 22 months to Haley!  This month has been a real turning point for us!  Sleeping at night is better (LOTS better!) mostly due to the Teach Me Time clock which encourages Haley to stay in bed until her clock turns green.  Mommy and Daddy want to buy the makers of the clock dinner.  We haven't seen this side of 6am in a LONG time!  Dinner time is also much more enjoyable; Haley was the last one done eating the other night.  What?!?!

The one thing that is not better is Stephie's influence on Haley in smiling for the camera.

 There are a lot of funny faces as of late.

 CHEEESEEE.

And here's that bad influence again!

(OK, perhaps a little bit of it comes from Mommy as well).

Happy 22 months, Haley!  Two more months until TWO years old!

Catching up from the past few days

This is Haley's latest buddy, Gwyneth.  "Hi, baby!!!"

 It was a good excuse to drag out the baby toys in the basement.

 Pebbles went to Little Monkey Bizness while Stephie was at school.

"Can I get fries with that?"  "NO!!!"

 Later, it was time for a play-date at Noah's house.
