Cody's birthday party and Mommy abuse

Stephie and Daddy went to Cody's 3rd birthday party today. Stephie had a great time playing in Cody's basement, though she looks a little shocked here.Time for cake!
Meanwhile, Haley was on the attack against Mommy. A little poke here......and a tiny bite there...
Luckily, a hug makes everything better.

Photos and Chicken

The girls had a pretty nice day today. We started with a round of photos at Portrait Innovations (hence the matching outfits here) then Mommy went downtown for Sisters' Weekend lunch while Daddy took the girls back to the house.Haley wants to eat the camera.
Stephie is putting her earlier posing practice to good use and looking directly at the camera. No grimacing!
After naps, Mommy's friends Hilary and Ryan came over with their baby Avery. Stephie and Haley watched Daddy cook some chicken (ugghhh meat, bleagh!) on the big green egg.

Birthday book at school

Instead of celebrating with treats, Stephie's class celebrates birthdays by having a parent come to the class to read a favorite book which is then donated to the class's library. Stephie chose one of her past faves.Mommy read the class the story...
...while Grandma Julie contained crazy-woman, AKA Haley. Stephie really was much more excited about it than she appears here.
