A Day at Gigi and Roger's

After arriving around 11:30 last night we headed to the zoo early to beat the crowds and heat.



First up: merry-go-round. Haley flipped out shortly after this photo and got passed to daddy and so actually didn't get to ride.



Next: Train ride. All aboard!



After the train we were lucky enough to meet up with Daddy's college friend Meaghan and her kids Madison and Matthew.



Madison and Stephie were instant buddies.



After the zoo we headed over to Old Town St. Charles where we had lunch and Stephie and Haley got an up close view of the Missouri River.



"I don't care if you drive an extra 20 miles out of your way and carry me down a 20 foot embankment just to show me what a river looks like I'm still not looking at your camera."



Finally, we finished the day back home with some Tozzle and pink mustang with Grandma Lois.
